Pairplane provides a choice where there previously was none. You used to be stuck sharing your flight with whoever sat down next to you. Some people are okay with letting fate decide their seatmate, and that’s okay. Others, however, would prefer the option to narrow down their potential travel partner to someone with whom they are more compatible. Pairplane exists to give you that choice.

Pairplane is the first and only service of its kind and gives the power of positioning back to the passengers. Airlines are busy ensuring airplanes are safe, passengers and their belongings are secured, and that every flight goes off without a hitch. They can’t spend their time worried about who sits next to whom. We, however, can and do spend all of our time ensuring you enjoy the most relaxing flight possible by helping you choose like-minded travelers, no matter what the destination may be!
how it works
When you sign up for Pairplane you’ll fill out a full profile which will help highlight your personality, character traits and the travel experience you enjoy most. Then, you’ll be able to choose a seat based on the characteristics you’d prefer to see in the person next to you. If you’re a quiet, headphones-wearing type who wants as much interaction on a plane as you would in a public restroom, you can choose a quieter seatmate using Pairplane. If an elderly family member is flying to visit you, you can use your Pairplane account to get a seat for him or her next to a younger passenger who can help them hoist their carry-on into the overhead compartment. Regardless of your reasons, Pairplane offers a flight experience which is more attuned to the needs of our users.
